Ge received the Pakistan coal power plant project

According to reports, General Electric has announced that it has won a $60 million coal-fired power plant project. It will provide advanced boiler technology and post-purchase services for a 330 MW coal-fired power generation project in the Tar region.
According to the agreement, GE will provide advanced circulating fluidized bed boiler and steam turbine generator technology to the power plant of Tall Energy Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as TEL).

The plant will use Thar Block II mine's local lignite and supply power to the State Grid under a 30-year power purchase agreement. The 330 megawatt TEL power plant is expected to start commercial operation in March 2021.

TEL is part of the 1,320 MW (4 330 MW power plants) integrated mining and power plant program under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor Program. Under the agreement, GE will provide critical services to support maintenance shutdowns, including spare parts supply, on-site inspection and consulting services, to improve the operation of TEL power plant boilers and steam turbine generators for 12 years.
